Good value for money. Great location in centre of main street near shops, bars and restaurants. Warm and welcoming. Decor a bit dated but made up for by comfort and cleanliness. Our double room also had bunk beds in and was still roomy enough so would suit a family. Plenty of towels, toiletries in bathroom and a well stocked tea/coffee tray. Breakfast was great and our furry four legged companion was catered for too. Never tried the pub food or Greg's bistro but both menus looked good and reasonably priced. Great having the bar, with beer garden just downstairs. Could hear a little road noise, but unless you were a very light sleeper it would not disturb. Nice park about 5 mins away where there's a pond, children's play park and places dogs can explore off lead.

The room was a great size with a huge lovely comfortable bed. The hotel is on the main street of Callendar and only a short walk away from the centre of town. There is plenty of parking at the rear of the hotel. There is a walk-in wardrobe to hang your coats and put your bags. The bathroom had recently been renovated with a fantastic shower and lovely decor. Breakfast is served in the bistro and was lovely, more than enough to eat. Greg the owner and his staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a nice hotel in great location with a local bar underneath which is great for spending a couple of hours in. The breakfast was nice too with a decent choice. We were both vegan but had a few options. As for the room, we had a big family room at the front of the hotel . Yes the furnishings are a little tired but all amenities were provided, the shower was great and the room was large. The staff were very nice at check in and at breakfast and at the bar. All in all I wouldnt hesitate to return.

Stayed here on a mini cycle tour. The hotel was way above expectations. The staff are lovely and they took great care of my bicycle. Placing it indoors overnight. The room (No 7) was comfy, warm and quiet. The shower was rather good and the bed was super comfortable. Bab's was so lovely at breakfast, happy and positive. Made each guest feel special. I can't fault this hotel and it delivers much more than its two star rating. Thank you all :-) I left happy and well rested.

Great and authentic place and so much value for money. It has a real Scottish charm and you feel at home when you enter the hotel. Breakfast is served in the café next to the bar with fresh fruit, croissant, juice, youghurt, musli and selection of sausage omelettes or whatever you would like😀 it is incredible. that the place can provide this value for so little money. Situated right a small town you may hang out with Scott people here.
